what about it.
I’ve been a podcast junkie before the term “podcast” was a thing. Back when MP3 players were new and you had to ration how many shows you could load up on it! Times have changed! Unfortunately as an engineer hungry to find accessible information online to hone my HVAC knowledge, I never was able to locate an HVAC podcast. So I did the only thing I could, I started my own. I’ve always had an affinity for radio, even DJ’ing at my college radio station, which is why I probably liked podcasts so much. It was personal, I felt connected to those I listened to. After some research and lining up my first guests the podcast finally got started. HVAC360, has been around in one form or another since late 2009, and it has been a blast. I’ve learned a lot and I received feedback from other saying the same.
What I am looking to do is assemble an HVAC community, centered around the sharing of information, regardless of location or financial situation. Simply put I want to help people learn about HVAC and to help buildings get built better. When we learn to do things better, everybody wins: Owners, Engineers, Contractors, Maintenance Staff.
Who am I to go spouting off about this? I’m an engineer who has decades of engineering and construction experience, so I'm speaking to you from the trenches and just wanted to share what information I have with you and other building professionals around the world. Today I continue to see projects forced to be delivered faster and cheaper by society and find that the art of design and construction is being turned into a finger pointing exercise. This is one engineer's attempt to empower anyone ready for a challenge.
