For anyone who has ever watched the shows "Holmes on Homes" or "Holmes Inspection" on HGTV, you're already familiar with Mike Holmes signature tag lines, such as "I'm going to make it right!" and "I get paid in hugs!".  For those of you who are not, start watching, reading, and take good notes.  This stuff is like crack for the building professionals.  Not only are his shows entertaining but he also has become a role model for building professionals everywhere, he certainly has for me.  It pretty much boils down to this: know your stuff, don't cover anything up, and treat your clients like you would your own family because they are assuming that you are the professional that you ought to be.  For more about Mike you can look him up at his website makeitright.ca or watch the shows I mentioned earlier (check local listing for show times).  Still can't get enough he has a  HOLMES magazine and  a book or two. So for all you do Mike, I for one, thank you. Keep making it right.
